All companies within Botswana registered with BURS have a portion of their monthly paid VAT contributed to the Training Levy for the company. BQA is the authority that governs all registered training institutions. They vet the type of training offered, the training premises, and the staff complement of the training institution before they will accredit the training company. The HRDC oversees and governs the use of the training levy utilized by all companies within Botswana. All companies within Botswana registered with BURS have a portion of their monthly paid VAT contributed to the Training Levy for the company.
