COVID-19 Documents and Communication procedure

Documents provided by GREEN before the training

The GREEN management team drafted a Covid-19 protocol and developed the following forms. Form GC19-02 and GC19-04 are general forms, which participants can download here. Form GC19-03 and GC19-05 are personolized and will be sent to participants before the training. The downloads below are only templates.

GREEN form GC19-02 GREEN Covid-19 health screening questionnaire

• This form is a health check, which you can download here.
• Every course participant must complete this form on the morning when the training or assessment starts.
• Complete and bring to the training

GREEN form GC19-04 GREEN Hygienic regulations

• This form contains the GREEN Covid hygienic regulations.
• Every course participant must sign this form before the training or assessment starts.
• Please read, sign and bring to the training

GREEN form GC19-03 Formal letter of confirmation to attend GREEN Solar Academy training course

• This letter confirms your participation in a GREEN training. Your name, ID, course dates and venue are indicated on your GC19-03 letter.
• We will email you a personal form with your details before the training starts.
• Please print it and use it as proof of participation in the training.

GREEN form GC19-05 Inter provincial travel form

• This form also confirms your participation in a GREEN training. We prepared it based on From “Form 3A Certificate for learners or students to travel to another province /metropolitan area/district” from the 28 May 2020 governmental gazette.
• We will email you a personal form with your details before the training starts.
• Please print it and use it as proof of participation in the training and for interprovincial travel.
• If you are from Gauteng you don’t need this form, but you get it anyhow.
• The document does not replace the mandate from your employers, but is an additional document.

Documents to be issued by the company of the participants

• Permit to perform an essential or permitted service
• Mandate letter of the employer to attend the GREEN Solar Academy Training signed by head of institution (not mandatory but recommended to have)
• Any supporting documents that proof that the attendance of the training is essential, especially to ease interprovincial travel

Compulsory PPE to bring to the trainings

•        Face mask
•        Working gloves for the practical exercises and assessment
•        Own hand sanitizer

Equipment to bring to the trainings

•        Notebooks and pens (stationary)
•        Laptop or tablet
•        Calculator (e.g. smart phone)

Communication

• We offer zoom briefings for all participants. Usually 10 am on the Thursday before the training starts.
• We will send all forms via E-Mail.
• We open the training/PV Assessment WhatsApp group for approved participants to share any late updates/developments. You will get the link with an invitation to join the WhatsApp group in the week before the training starts.
• We may send final information even on the evening before the course/assessment starts and thus ask all participants to check their E-mails frequently.
