Description
This course is only for PV installers who have attended our comprehensive 5-day SuperSolarSchool training, and want to refresh their knowledge before attempting for the PV GreenCard Assessment.
The morning theory session consists of recapping the basics of solar PV, components, and laws and regulations. We go through the topics in quick succession and touch up on latest developments and any changes that have occurred since you did your last training.
The afternoon session takes place in the workshop in a practical installation situation. What are the small details that make a perfect PV installation? What does wiring according to SANS 10142-1 look like? Experienced installers know how to mount a PV array on a roof but how can they be certain they are definitely still doing it all as per the manual? Our facilitators will spend some time going through all these details and advise on correct installation practices.
