Solar 101

Everyone working in or around solar has to start somewhere. Solar 101 is that starting point - a two-day course built for people who are new to the industry and want to understand how solar actually works, without getting lost in calculations or technical jargon.

You'll come away with a clear picture of how PV systems are built, what the components do, and how to talk about solar confidently, whether you're helping customers, supporting a technical team, or exploring whether a solar career is right for you.

Solar 101 is designed for anyone stepping into the solar world for the first time, including:

• Sales, admin, and customer-facing staff at solar companies
• People considering a career in solar who want to understand the landscape first
• Managers and decision-makers who need a working knowledge of solar without the technical deep-dive
• Recent school leavers and youth exploring opportunities in the energy sector
• Anyone who wants to understand solar before committing to a full training path

This course has no prerequisites. No technical background, no prior experience. If you're curious about solar, you're ready for Solar 101.
