Description

For business owners there are 1000 things to do -technically and on the management side! In this course you will learn what heading up a solar business actually entails and get some guidance on how to deal with it all.

We will go through all the basics, starting at the necessary registration processes with CIPC, SARS, the Bargaining Council and the DoEL. You will learn how to take investment decisions for your business, get guidance on managing internal processes and how to find your unique selling point and position yourself in the market. A special focus lies on learning how to quote for projects and how to make sure your margin doesn’t get eaten up by inefficient project management or too-high costs.

The overall goal is to avoid unnecessary mistakes, save you from learning the ropes the hard (and costly) way and let you benefit from our trainers' business experience. All trainers for this course run successful PV businesses of their own and have many years' experience dealing with management, business compliance and the peculiarities of the PV industry.
