GREEN Solar Academy is managed by a powerful team of three solar enthusiasts. Antje and Vivian are the directors and founders, both have been active in the training sector for several years. But we are not alone! Our secret is to have a small, flexible team – with a whole bunch of trainers, experts and managers at our backs when we need them!

Antje Klauss-Vorreiter

CEO

Antje has the overview of finances, training and project coordination. She is a great networker and pulls all the strings together. Managing teams, creating work schedules and project outlines, and acquiring capital for ideas are her specialties.

Vivian Bluemel

CPO

Vivian manages the content and creativity in the company. She is responsible for technical questions and all kinds of content development, which includes the trainings but also extends to the company’s marketing campaigns and GREEnetwork activities.

Amanda Dzivhani

COO

Amanda joined the team in 2018. She is mainly responsible for the participants and takes care that all who call or email get the information they need. She is a great organiser and takes over big parts of the organisation of the training courses.

Tsakani Mashila

Team Leader Sales

Tsakani is an enthusiastic, bubbly individual ready to meet new challenges. Tsakani joined the GREEN team in 2020 as part of the marketing team. She makes sure the GREEN name is out there! Tsakani is responsible for all the social media marketing under the supervision of Vivian Blumel.

Alexandra Hattingh

Senior Marketing Manager

Alex comes from a graphic design and web development background. She is a wife and mother, and enjoys activities as varied as karaoke, knitting and woodwork. Alex has been in the solar energy industry since 2014 and commands a good understanding – and talent for explaining – energy storage systems.

McDonald Sekoa

Trainer / Content Designer

McDonald studied Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) and has completed an optic fibre short Course as well as PV Solar Courses with GREEN. He has experience the installation of domestic and commercial PV solar systems as well as training electrical maintenance interns.

Dennis Du Plooy

Director of GREEN Solar Academy Gauteng

Dennis du Plooy is currently the Director of GREEN Solar Academy Gauteng. He also works as a trainer for our Academies in Johannesburg and Pretoria. He also owns his own solar installation company.

Marius Geldenhuys

Content Designer

Marius Geldenhuysis our trainer for design and PV simulation software. He runs his own company alongside Dennis Du Plooy.

He is also the co-director and master trainer for GSA Gauteng alongside Dennis Du Plooy.
